New Zealand has the highest incidence rate of melanoma in the world and people who work outside—like a lot of farmers— are exposed to 10 times the UV light compared to people who work indoors.
That's why FMG has partnered with Melanoma NZ, to prevent avoidable deaths and suffering from melanoma by bringing the Spot Check Van to events such as the NZ Dairy Event. The purpose fitted van and dedicated nurse will be ringside offering free spot checks, education and information about all aspects of melanoma.
Keep an eye out for the van at the event which will be onsite both Wednesday and Thursday.
